BIMida — Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected

BIMida collects and processes the following data:

• •Autodesk User ID — Your unique Autodesk account identifier, collected automatically from Revit to generate and verify your BIMida license key.
• •License Key — A cryptographic key generated from your Autodesk User ID, used to activate and validate your BIMida subscription.
• •Email Address — Provided by you during the subscription process, used to deliver your license key and send license-related notifications (expiration, renewal).
• •Payment Data — Processed exclusively by Stripe (our payment processor). BIM Consult never receives, stores or has access to your credit card numbers or banking details.

Data is collected in two ways: (a) automatically by the BIMida plugin reading your Autodesk User ID from Revit, and (b) voluntarily by you when subscribing via the BIM Consult website.

2. Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data with the following third parties, each of which provides the same level of data protection as described in this policy:

• •Stripe Inc. — Payment processing only. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• •Supabase Inc. — Secure cloud database hosting for license records (Autodesk User ID, license key, subscription status). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
• •Vercel Inc. — Website and API hosting. Vercel processes only transient HTTP request data.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers, analytics networks or any other third parties not listed above.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as follows:

• •Active subscription — Your Autodesk User ID and license data are retained for the duration of your subscription.
• •After cancellation — Data is retained for up to 12 months after subscription expiry for license verification and potential reactivation, then permanently deleted.
• •Payment records — Stripe retains payment data according to their own retention policy and applicable financial regulations.
• •Server logs — License verification logs are retained for 90 days for debugging and security purposes, then automatically purged.

4. Revoking Consent & Requesting Deletion

You may revoke your consent and/or request deletion of your data at any time by:

• •Sending an email to privacy@bimconsult.lu with the subject line "BIMida Data Deletion Request" and your Autodesk User ID.
• •We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.
• •Upon deletion: your license will be deactivated, your Autodesk User ID and license records will be permanently removed from our systems.
• •Note: deletion of payment records held by Stripe must be requested directly from Stripe.

5. GDPR Compliance

BIM Consult S.à r.l. is based in Luxembourg and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing and port your data. The data controller is BIM Consult S.à r.l., 126 Route de Luxembourg, L-4973 Dippach, Luxembourg.
